On Sunday, Sept 28th I got to go to my fave little city to do my fave little thing, shoot a wedding. This was the perfect wedding for me because I love shooting weddings and I just LOVE Las Vegas. And it was at The Mandalay Bay. I had it all planned out. We were going to go to the Moorea Beach Club (Mandalay Bay Pool check out the virtual tour it's HOT) to do the bride & groom shoot and then we would sneak out to the strip for a quick strip pic (wow tongue twister) but it didn't work out that way. Daniel was done after the ceremony & wanted to go to the reception & relax. I tried and tried but the answer stayed no. We took some inside the hotel but I wanted to go outside. I was bummed because there was soooo much drama in the sky with a summer storm brewing & the pics would have been amazing but I didn't want to make anyone upset so I sucked it up and went with the flow against my better judgement. The couple had The Vista Suite (take the virtual tour online) so I knew I would be able to get some incredible strip pics but nope. Actually, I did get them just without the couple :) About an hour into the reception Daniel came up to me and said "lets do this" he just needed a few drinks and to relax. Unfortunately they didn't want to go outside and the sun was already down at this point but we did get some really steamy fun pics. Of course I wanted to take great photos for me but I now consider Mary a friend and I really wanted her to have fantastic wedding pics. After all The Mandalay Bay provides a photographer with their wedding packages and they hired me on top of that. Well it all worked out and I can rest assured knowing that they got what they wanted even if they didn't know it at the time. :) I have added a little teaser of their photos, click on them for a larger view. Enjoy and thanks to Mary & Daniel I had a blast.

Art Las Vegas style
Back in July I went to Vegas for 3 days and of course where I go my camera goes. We were walking in the Forum when I spotted this add (hello it jumps out at you). I loved all the black surrounding it and how the reflection was so reflective of the poster. ( I was trying to be funny there). Ok so as cheesy as this sounds this really was beautiful to me in an artistic way. Yes it didn't hurt that he is just a god!

48 & fabulous!!
Last week I shot a boudoir session for a 48 year old lady who wanted to gift them to her husband for his 50th bday. What an awesome gift and hello does she look 48? There was NO photoshop used here. She emailed him the slideshow while he was at work and he apparently almost had a heart attack. I'm guessing he went home for his lunch break!!

My new brochures are done!!! YEAH!!
I have been designing my brochures all week and have tried many different pictures and layouts but I think I finally got it. The brides name is Morgan and I just loved her. She was down to do anything. Her reception was at her cousins house which was just beautiful and he had the coolest dinning room complete with a Swarovski Crystal Chandelier and deep red velvet drapes. I asked her to do some pics on the table and she was all for it. I wish all brides were like her. It didn't hurt that she was beautiful either :) This is the inside fold of my brochure. You can click on it to see the images enlarged. Ya like?
